PROOFING POLICY
Dear Customer,
Please read the below carefully as there have been changes to our proofing policy.
• 1st check (recommendations for print ready artwork will be sent at no additional charge)
We will check your artwork at no additional cost and advise any issues with artwork to be corrected.
If no issues are found, the order will be sent to production with no proof supplied unless requested at the time of ordering.
• 2nd check (check recommendations have been applied to produce print ready artwork at no additional charge)
We will recheck your artwork to ensure all corrections are done and it is a print ready file. If corrections are not made as advised, then we will re-advise and an
additional £15 + VAT charge will apply for a third artwork check.
If no issues are found, the order will be sent to production with no proof supplied unless requested at the time of ordering.
• 3rd check (A £15.00 + VAT checking fee will be added to your invoice for this artwork proof)
We will recheck your artwork to ensure all corrections are done and it is a print ready file. If corrections are not made as advised, then we will re-advise and
an additional £15 + VAT charge will apply for a further artwork check.
Note - If you change your artwork after we have carried out our artwork proofing service, it will be classed as new artwork because the original has changed.
We will have to reproof your artwork and this service will carry an artwork checking fee of £15.00 + VAT. This is because our service is only free of charge when
we check your original artwork and not if you decide to change it.
PROOF APPROVAL
Revised / Re-supply of artwork will impact on despatch date.
PLEASE REVIEW THOROUGHLY, FINAL APPROVAL FOR PRINT.
Please check all proofs at 100% of the size. Printvision will not assume responsibility in case of errors found in printed materials that were not bought to our
attention during the proofing stage.
We have carried out the following checks:
• Page size is correct
• Correct use of overprint
• Required bleed has been applied
• Images meet required resolution
• Fonts are not missing
• CMYK colour profile has been applied where applicable
Errors found at proofing stage can where possible be corrected by our design studio for an additional charge. If the artwork cannot be fixed, new artwork(s)
would have to be re-supplied for re-proofing.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Late artwork approvals will stop the production process and cause a late delivery, please could you revise delivery dates if this occurs. We do not save provided
artwork for more than 3 months.
FLAG PRINTING
Flag material is transparent, the colour will look darker on screen, however the colour will appear a bit lighter on the final print due to the nature of the fabric.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Dates of delivery will be confirmed by the sales representative handling your job and are only applicable from confirmation of approval. Please be aware the
delivery date will only include the date of approval if confirmation is received before 12pm.
Colours can vary using the full colour (CMYK) print process between jobs; never assume your printed job will exactly match that of your screen colours (RGB).
We do not accept any liability for colour differences between jobs. If you require a colour match, please supply a hard copy proof or purchase a colour proof
from us or supply a previously printed job in order for us to achieve the best possible match.
